Here’s one thing I’ve learned about New Years resolutions: Not all of them are followed through. One of my resolutions for 2016 (yes I do mean the year that’s almost over now) was to start a blog. It only took me 365 days to actually get started! Makes you wonder if it’ll be another year to the next entry.
The good thing is that this slight delay has some nice psychiatric aspects to it: think procrastination (seen in ADHD), think avoidance (seen in the phobias), think self loathing and low mood as a result (as in depression). But don’t worry, this is making me feel inspired already to write about all of these disorders and to help my patients get better in 2017.
